“I have moved to Virginia and am currently volunteering with Virginia’s Department of Wildlife Resources. I hope to gain experience and find my niche before moving on to obtain my master’s. Attaining my education through Stamps has changed how I see and understand the world around me, and has positively impacted how I process new information and ideas. It has made me a better person in every way.”

“Since graduating, I have continued pursuing my passion for dance as an apprentice with Modern American Dance Company (MADCO) while also working as a freelance dancer and dance educator in the St. Louis community. I am also continuing to explore ways to expand the interdisciplinary research I began through my senior thesis, which examined how concepts from organic chemistry can be embodied and communicated through dance. My Stamps experience continues to encourage me to pursue the intersections between my passions, embrace interdisciplinary opportunities, and create work that bridges disciplines in meaningful ways.”

My Stamps experience pushed me to think about disparities in national approaches to the use of technology in education, influencing my current research focus of computationally modeling the emotional trajectories of students during the learning experience.”

“I have since entered the doctoral program at the University of Minnesota Twin Cities for Materials Science and Engineering. I am starting the process to look for a PI, and I plan on working with polymers in some form. Stamps gave me the flexibility and freedom to explore every facet of academia, allowing me to better decide what the next step of my life should be.”
