Assistant Director, Scholar Support Programs
Phillip Foster has worked in higher education for nine years, including four years in student services and three years at the University of Illinois. He is passionate about mentoring/coaching students to succeed at their highest levels. He is originally from Nebraska where he earned his Master of Arts in Educational Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and Bachelor of General Studies from the University of Nebraska. Soon, he will earn his second Master’s in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership from the University of Illinois. He loves watching movies, exercising, and people watching.
Director, Scholar Support Programs
Kristine serves as the Program Lead and is involved in planning and implementing co-curricular initiatives and activities for Stamps Scholars. Kristine grew up in a small, rural, community in central Illinois and, to this day, is the only person in her family to have completed a bachelor degree. She is a very proud alumna of the University of Illinois, holding both a B.A. in Rhetoric and an Ed. M. in Higher Education. Kristine has extensive experience in advising and admissions and is passionate about working with undergraduates. She enjoys gardening, reading, writing, and spending time with friends and family.
