What’s Stamps?

The Stamps Scholarship is the most selective scholarship at Illinois, designed to recruit talented and driven undergraduate students with a commitment to civic engagement, research, and leadership in a global society.

The award covers a student’s full cost of attendance and also supplies up to $12,000 in enrichment funds to support activities that propel their academic and professional futures.

In addition to the scholarship, Stamps recipients at Illinois benefit from interacting with a close-knit community of fellow scholars, participating in professional development activities throughout the year, and engaging with the larger Stamps community at regional and national events.

The Stamps Scholars Program at Illinois first launched in 2010 and is funded jointly with the generous support from benefactor E. Roe Stamps and the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
