There is not a scholarship application for consideration for the Stamps Scholars Program. Instead, Illinois admission applications are thoroughly reviewed each year to identify exceptional candidates who demonstrate high levels of academic achievement, strong leadership, involvement, and community service. Only Illinois residents are reviewed for the Stamps Scholarship.
In early spring, candidates are invited for a campus visit which includes an interview with a selection committees, current Stamps Scholars, and a representative of their academic program at Illinois.
For the 2023-24 academic year, 7 new students will join the Illinois Stamps Scholars program, from an Illinois resident applicant pool of about 27,000 students.
