Mission/Vision
The Stamps Scholars at Illinois collectively authored a vision for the experience.
Our goal is to:
- Create a diverse, sustainable and cohesive community that fosters lifelong relationships
- Establish a prominent Illinois Stamps brand and achieve recognition for the program through charitable works
- Utilize the Stamps experience as a platform for career advancement that connects Scholars with resources and networking opportunities
Our vision comes alive as we:
- Participate in social gatherings and service activities
- Share and celebrate individual and group accomplishments through a variety of platforms including our student-led Stamps Showcase
- Gather to learn from distinguished campus and national leaders
- Meet individually with the Program Leads once per semester for challenge and support
- Take part in a pre-college summer excursion, biennial National Convention, and biennial spring retreat
- And much more
